I'm Joana Alves, a Portuguese author who writes emotional, dark contemporary romance in English. I'm obsessed with books, tea, and characters who are beautifully complicated. Writing has been my ultimate dream since high school, and there is nothing I love more than bringing fierce main characters to life and the morally grey men you can't help but fall for.
When I am not hiding in my room drinking way too much bubble tea and rewriting imaginary conversations in my head, I am hanging out online with bookies, just like you. My goal is always to write heroines who refuse to back down and ruthless morally grey men who would burn down the world just to hold her hand. Do your books have a reading order?
All Joana Alves books exist in the same universe so if you want to dive deep into the Rosewoods world, I advise you to read them by the reading order I suggested here: Books. However, every series can be read on its own, though they may contain Easter eggs and cameos from other series. Fated Trilogy needs to be read by its publishing order.
